Breaking Out

Why O God should anyone over the age of 16 break out? Why must there be zits checkered across my face when I am trying to realize my pastoral authority? Why does this happen when my stress levels rise? Why O God must you send this plague upon me? If only I believed it was really your fault.

You know, when stuff like that happens I always try to remember if my pastors that i had growing up seemed to have these issues and dadgummit the answer is always, "No!"

Hope you had a fun lunch at your blogger meet-up.

I have read that honey is good for thsoe nasty zit fits. I have not tried it, but a friend recently gave me a list of home remedies. Also read it in a magazine.
So try a dab of honey on 'em.
I do not knwo if a jar of SueBee works or you get the more expensive kind. Maybe you can just get a "free" pack in a coffee place. Hmmmmm...

I hear ya. I didn't have zits in high school, but my doctor, who's also a parishioner, when signing me up for birth control my first year hear (o.k., so there may be boundary issues, but there's only 4,000 people in this town...) said "Why don't we go with Orthotricycline (or however you spell it)? I've noticed you have a bit of an acne problem." Mortifying. Its not a big deal, a few zits around my cycle time, but... sheesh... as if I don't look young enough. I seem to have a bit of pastoral authority, zits and all, though.
